PHOTOS: WFE fan visits the wagon that almost claimed Robert Pattinson’s arm! Naughty cats ;)

One of our readers, Molly, took a trip to see the circus wagons of Water For Elephants. Here are the pictures and story that she graciously shared:

Through my social networking on the internet I found out that the circus wagons that were used in the movie Water For Elephants are owned by the Circus World Museum in Baraboo Wisconsin. There were 15 antique circus wagon’s from the Circus World Museum used in the movie. When I found out about this I needed to go. So my husband, children and I decided to go and see them. I live approximately an 1 hour away from Baraboo, so I thought this was too good to be true.

These are some of the photo’s that were taken on the day trip. The photo of me standing in front of the orange and silver decorated cage with black bars was used in the part of the movie where Jacob Jankowski (Robert Pattinson) sticks his arm between the bars and almost gets it bitten off by the lion. I just wanted to add I loved the book and I am very excited to see the movie.

We’re excited as well, Molly! Thanks again for sharing your photos with us :)

Here's lies, Robowski's arm...well not really...but it could have been very tragic if Rex had teeth.

*pouts* I want to visit the pretty wagons. Maybe they can have one at the premiere! *hint hint*

LOL boys...they crack me up

I USED TO VISIT THE CIRCUS WORLD MUSEUM AS A CHILD. WAS BORN AND RAISED IN REEDSBURG, ONLY 1/2 HR. FROM BARABOO. WHAT AN HONOR THEY DONATED THE WAGONS FOR WHAT PROMISES TO BE A MAGNIFICENT FILM. THE BOOK WAS UNFORGETTABLE! WHAT A STORY!

    Great Job!
I too live near Baraboo and I did go to the Circus Museum this summer once I found out they had a few wagons from the movie there!
They really were pretty cool to see. Such intricate details on all the wagons. Can’t wait to see them on the big screen.
Hopefully I will be able to keep myself from yelling “I SAW THAT” at the screen lol
