A NYC premiere is going to keep you from supporting Rob? You’re kidding Right? Not only are they going to get my $10.00 but I’m flying 900 miles to see it with another Robsessed fan. That’s OK. We’ll go again to make up for you. Rob deserves our support not matter what city the premiere is held in. The movie looks spectacular and Rob is going to be amazing in it. Your loss.

    • littleb1223 says:

Trying agian…I’ll go the extra time for you Sharon to make up for you not going. Anyone else wanna go see WFE again for Sharon?

      • Dee says:

I’m in for sure. Heck I’ll go 10 times for Sharon lol How could you not go because of a premiere location?? I was sad it wasn’t in NYC but that wasn’t going to stop me from supporting him and the film. I have to travel almost 4 hours to NYC but I’m going this time!!!! Blew it for Remember Me but never again!!!!

I can understand being disappointed but, to be fair, the NYC premiere on the 17th had been tweeted by the director and talked about by Rob. See the movie or not, that’s your choice. I’m not sure who you’re addressing with the “whiner” comment but we kinkers were zen. (Although I did have a good time defending the Dominion of Canada when we were left off the official release page ;) )
You can even read a post about how zen we were.
Hope you’ll change your mind, for Rob’s sake. :)

AHHH!!! Anyone else getting whiplash lol NYC!!! YES!!!
Sorry LA girls but you get him all the time ;)
Thank you for thinking of the fans !!!!!

  4. jarielynn says:

Oh!! I was so worried.. I had just gotten my flight booked when they announced that the venue might be changed. Ha! Thank you!! I am so excited now. :)

  5. Lisa says:

This has made my sick day! I’m so happy and can’t wait! Out of curiosity, has anyone ever been to a premiere? How early do you have to get there and so on? This is my first premiere and I can’t wait!

    • jarielynn says:

It’s my first too, and I was just wondering the same thing. I’m booked to get there on Friday around 3. I hope that’s early enough.

      • Lisa says:

Where are you coming from jarielynn? I’m heading in early on Saturday from Boston. I’m actually really excited, I’ve never been to anything like this before and I don’t know what to expect!

  6. Judith says:

Hey Sharon – I’m one of those “whiners” you just whined about. You know why I “whined”? Because @hibbits (aka Francis Lawrence) – the DIRECTOR told us the premier would be April 17 in NYC – and he confirmed it. So alot of us went ahead and booked our flights and hotel rooms! ALOT OF US. So sorry if you’re upset and don’t want to see the movie now. But that’s ok – I’ll see it multiple times to make up for the $10 bucks you won’t be paying! xoxo @NawtyMeenx!

  7. Judith says:

Oh – and BTW – SQUEE!!! Can’t WAIT to be in NYC with my gals! Woot!

  8. smittenkitten says:

OMG…so excited, NYC here I come!!!

I am sorry every one does not get to go to the premiere. I wish I could . I can not go but I am sure I will see the movie many times because Robert Pattinson is in it. I saw his other movies many times also. I am not a teenager but I do like Rob. The movie is going to be a great movie and a beautiful circus movie too. All of the stars are great.

    • littleb1223 says:

Jean, there are a lot of us who aren’t going but probably know someone that will. We’ll just have to live vicariously through them and hope they share all the pretty pictures and experiences. I’m excited for all the RAoR h00rs that get the chance to go.

      • Jean says:

I do not know any one going but It will be so exciting for all those that get to go. I am happy for them and wish I was one of them. I am looking forward to going to the movie. I keep watching the second trailor that has a lot of Rob in it for now.

      • smittenkitten says:

@Christa, bb I bet I fangirl SQUEEEE so much that I will embarrass everyone around me…I can’t wait!

    • Dee says:

Jean age is just a number baby ;) And you’re here… you know us!!!!

      • littleb1223 says:

Dee is right. Age isn’t an issue around here. I’m over 35 and I just can’t help myself to lust…er I mean love this man.

      • Jean says:

Thank you !! I do love Robert and my kids like to tease me about it and I say, we all look at him with young eyes!!

  11. Brian says:

Does anyone know how to get tickets for the premier?

  12. Jessica says:

Can anyone tell me what a premiere is like? Do we get to see the movie? I have never been to one and this is going to be my first premiere. Any details or information would be appreciated?

  13. RobCatCdn says:

I’m really, really happy for the tinkers, my RAoR sisters and everyone else who is going to the NYC premiere! :-) I hope Tink will bring her trusted camcorder to get some nice shots of Rob and the cast …. like the ones she took at the LA NM premiere. ;-) #add.4.JAG LOL <3

  14. Jessica says:

for those of you who have been to a premiere before….. what time should I get there?? PLEASE HELP!!!

    • Lisa says:

      Hi Jessica,
i was too wondering the same thing. Maybe we’ll learn more once there are more details are released (like where it is going to be and what time it is going to be and so on). I want to know too! I’m very anxious and excited for this.

I don’t think because you show up you are guaranteed to get into the movie. I think mostly it’s to see the stars and such, but as I mentioned in another post, I have no idea how this works!

I know I had no answers but maybe I made you feel a little better? Hopefully we’ll find out more details soon!

      • Jessica says:

Thanks Lisa! I just want to know what time I should start lining up becuase I dont want to be way in the back…. I need to see ROB!!

  15. Robsmile1 says:

Blew RM premier and don’t want to blow it again! NYC a 5 hr drive but I’ll be there with bells on! that said how does one get tickets to a premier showing and how early should one get there? Any info would be appreciated.

  16. IVYFIGGY says:

…have made plans to attend premiere in NYC…was wondering if it was going to happen…now let’s see how close I cam get to actually seeing someone there.
    …am totally syked!

    • Jessica says:

Exactly! I just want to be close enough to see them!!! A glimpse of Rob would be totally worth it!

      • Lisa says:

I almost canceled my hotel room, glad I didn’t. We got a great rate on it. i am wondering how early would be best to get there. I guess we just have to wait and see.

I thought someone on this board (or another I was on…I can’t remember where I read it…it was a few weeks ago) that at the RM premiere people who were there early got wrist bands and were told to come back for tickets and they go in. Don’t know if that will happen here, don’t know if that is standard as this is my first premiere but fingers crossed!

  17. Lisa says:

I feel the same way. As much as I am excited to see this movie, I have always wanted to go to a movie premiere. I’m really excited and I feel like a twelve year old fan girl (and I’m way older than twelve :)! My friends have been teasing me saying that I would camp out Saturday night if I had to! I’m getting into NYC Saturday morning and not leaving until Monday, so I have time to wait! Lol!
    Are you traveling far?

    • Jessica says:

I know I am the same way! I finally convinced one of my firends to come with me and I think we are getting in Sunday morning and leaving Monday so I can wait all day! I am taking a 2 hour train ride to get there so nothing too big! I just want to be close and see… I jsut need to know when to line up and where!

      • Lisa says:

I took me a lot to convince a friend to go! I think she only said yes so I would shut up about it! LOL! I bet the info about where and what time will be released soon.

  18. Jessica says:

Lisa, what hotel are you staying at? I am still trying to pick one!

    • Lisa says:

My friend got the Empire Hotel near Central Park. She got it off of priceline for $215 a night with taxes. She’s stayed there before. it’s a little out of the way to where I normally stay.
I usually stay at the Da Vinci Hotel. It’s a boutique hotel and is also usually under $200 a night. It’s clean and has a good location.

  19. Jessica says:

My Friend and I were thinking about staying at the Night Hotel because it looks cool

  20. val says:

I am going to the premiere from Texas!! :) Got the flight but just not the hotel yet….can anyone suggest one?

    follow me at @valorta :)

    • Lisa says:

      Hi Val,

I don’t know what your budget is for your trip so I’ll give you a few of my favs (I go to NYC several times a year…I feel like a pro now!).

-The Da Vinci Hotel is pretty decent. it’s a standard hotel but so close to the center of Times Square without being in Times Square directly. Rooms are about $200 a night. It’s quiet and as i have said, this is my go-to hotel when I’m in the city. Here is the link to their website:

-I haven’t stayed a the Pod Hotel in a few years, but when I did they were on the inexpensive side and it was a fun hotel:

-I’m staying at the Empire Hotel, which is a little closer to Central Park thank i like, but she booked it. I don’t know how that is (I’ll let you know after April 16th!).

-I’ve also stayed at the Millennium Broadway and the Millennium UN Plaza. They were nice, but a little pricey.

My number one recommendation would be the Da Vinchi. I love it there. For the amount of time you spend in your hotel room when you are in NYC, it makes sense.

As I mentioned I travel to NYC a lot so if you need any more help please let me know!
