‘Water for Elephants’ is #1 on The New York Times Bestseller List for the 9th Consecutive Week

Congratulations to Water for Elephants author Sara Gruen and publisher Algonquin Books for maintaining the #1 spot on the New York Times Bestseller List for Paperback Trade Fiction for the 9th consecutive week in a row!

Algonquin Books confirmed sales statistics exclusively to us that they currently have 4.3 million copies of Water for Elephants in print and have sold over 1 million of since January 1, 2011. The book has been at #1 on the trade paperback list for 9 weeks in a row now, and the mass market and E-book editions spent two weeks at #1 (but on the list for 9 weeks total as well).
